What’s Next For Roman Reigns?
With Brawn Strowman’s injury, WWE will need to think about who to put against Roman Reigns. But who could/should it be?
There are of course several options within the RAW brand. Here’s a list of potential SuperStars that could match up against The Big Dog.
- Samoa Joe
- Seth Rollins
- The Miz
- Bray Wyatt
- Finn Balor
- Dean Ambrose
All of those names are currently involved with feuds, but changes could be made after the Extreme Rules PPV. So let’s take a look at the options.
Firstly, Bray Wyatt and Finn Balor have been built up and teased over the past weeks. This is a fresh feud with no in ring action. Therefore it seems unlikely for WWE to split these two up just yet. There are also rumours that Finn Balor will be set up against Brock Lesnar for Great Balls of Fire.
Samoa Joe and Seth Rollins seems old hat now. It’s been booked poorly and WWE may want to split these guys up if they can’t create any heat. Unfortunately for Roman, he’s had a recent match up against The Destroyer, and WWE wouldn’t put two of their faces against each other. It’s not time for The Shield to reunite just yet.
We’re left with Dean Ambrose and The Miz. So let’s cut to the chase. The Miz could be considered RAW’s biggest heel at the moment, with Roman as their desired biggest face. The answer seems obvious then? We’ll have to wait and see what WWE make of it, but it’s not too farfetched to think of The Miz vs Roman Reigns as a suitable feud to keep The Big Dog occupied.
What are your thoughts? Who should he face, and what should Roman be doing now that Strowman is out of action? Let us know in the comments!
