Roy Johnson Becomes the First UnPro Wrestling Champion
‘Big Wavy’ Roy Johnson captured the UnPro Wrestling Championship at this past Sunday’s ‘The Man Who Would be King’ show in the Hackney Showroom.
Johnson defeated UK veteran and Mexican hero El Ligero to advance to a Four Way final where he outlasted Sebastian, Pastor William Eaver and Damon Moser to take the (gorgeous) belt and solidify himself as one of the best that the UK scene has to offer.
Representing South London, Johnson has been making his name throughout the UK scene over the past two years and competed for WWE at the Blackpool and Norwich WWE UK tapings. He now holds both the Battle Pro and UnPro titles and looks set to continue his path to stardom on a bigger scale.
Better recognise, he ain’t no Wasteman…
A historic day for us yesterday where we crowned our first ever champion, mired only by the way he chose to do it pic.twitter.com/q7p3igZJze
